Crimson Desert Endgame Guide — What to Do After Story
Updated 2026-06-03
Crimson Desert endgame keeps you busy long after the credits roll. Six optional field bosses, seven hidden dungeons, full faction reputation grinds, and a complete gear collection to chase. The game does a poor job explaining what is available post-story, so this guide covers everything worth doing before New Game+ arrives.
Post-story checklist
- Defeat all 6 optional field bosses — each drops a unique weapon crafting material.
- Clear all 7 hidden dungeons — 3 of them are only accessible post-story.
- Max all 4 faction reputations — total 60+ faction quests.
- Collect all 12 unique weapons — the 'Collector' achievement requires finding every named weapon.
- Complete all companion quest chains — some have alternative endings based on dialogue choices.
- Find the Mythical Steed — requires a multi-step quest chain starting in Ash Canyon.
New Game+ preparation
NG+ is not available yet (coming in late 2026), but you can prepare now. Max out your preferred weapon to level 10. Stockpile upgrade materials — 50 of each common ore and 20 of each rare. Save at least 30,000 silver. Complete every companion quest to unlock their full potential in NG+. The NG+ mode promises to carry over weapons, materials, and faction reputation.
The field boss 'The Reckoning Remnant' only spawns after you finish the main story. It is the hardest fight in the game — bring your best gear and all healing consumables.
FAQ
- How long is the endgame?
- 30 to 50 additional hours depending on how much you want to complete. Full 100% completion takes around 100 hours total.
- Can I keep playing after the final boss?
- Yes. The game lets you free-roam after the credits. A marker on the map lets you replay the final boss.
