Legendary Beasts — Boss Fight Guide

Extreme threat

Updated 2026-06-03

Crimson Desert legendary beasts are the ultimate optional challenge. Three mythical creatures are hidden behind multi-step quest chains that span the entire map. Each beast has unique mechanics that punish even small mistakes. They are significantly harder than anything in the main story. Only attempt these fights after maxing your gear and reaching level 50.

Fight mechanics

The Storm Phoenix is an aerial fight where you must shoot it down with a bow before it dives for melee attacks. The Abyssal Leviathan is an underwater battle with limited oxygen — surface every 60 seconds or drown. The Void Tyrant has four phases, each adding new attacks and a unique status effect. This is the only enemy in the game that can apply all four status effects simultaneously.

Defeating all three legendary beasts unlocks the 'Legend Slayer' title and the 'Mythic' weapon tier upgrade. The Mythic upgrade is the best in the game — it adds a unique visual glow and bonus damage against all enemy types.

FAQ

Can I summon legendary beasts more than once?
Yes. The summon items respawn after 7 in-game days. You can refight them for bragging rights and extra materials.
What is the best strategy for The Void Tyrant?
Stack fire resistance and bring 20 greater health potions. Phase 1 is easy, Phase 2 is burn avoidance, Phase 3 is pattern memorization, and Phase 4 is survival.
